Dave developed his investigative acumen and expertise over a span of 28 years of service with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Over the years, he has handled a multitude of criminal investigations from shoplifting to murder. Dave has worked on some of Alberta's and the Northwest Territory's most extensive investigations.

After retiring from the RCMP, Dave entered the field of private investigation and security consultation. For the last number of years, he has served his clients by conducting private investigations, security consulting, and providing workshops and speaking engagements on security topics. His numerous topics include personal security, corporate security, shoplifting, armed robbery, and other security topics.

In Dave's workshops and speaking engagements, he will share personal stories to enlighten and entertain his audiences on security issues. Using his vast amount of knowledge, he can provide practical insight and solutions to corporate and personal security concerns.
